Appearance:    White stain produces a whitish colored cast. Longer grain with occasional swirls and burls. Distinctive white rays are what make white oak so prized for construction of “Mission” style furniture and woodwork.

Properties:       White oak is durable and has good resistance to splitting and excellent holding ability.

Principal uses:   Oak is practically synonymous with high-quality, durable, and distinctively attractive wood floors. Other uses include furniture, moldings, doors, kitchen cabinets and caskets.
